Time has moved quickly now 30 years combined of living my dream which began with a love for fashion, design and outdoor spaces and textiles. The dream has lead me to create homes, design furnishings, fixed finishes, artisan accents and implementing well-curated art.
I have been incredibly fortunate to work with some wonderful clients throughout the years from all over the country. My philosophy and background have enabled me to work in accord with the people that I have designed for.
Designing to me is exciting taking all of the wonderful inspirations of the world fashion, art, landscapes, architecture people and all of what nature has gifted us with.
I started out as a very young teenager in the floral industry assembling and designing corsages. The work ethic was instilled in me with values I inherited from my family. To get to afford some of item’s I desired that were out of my budget I took on customer service job at 14 for a major grocery chain.
The grocery chain taught me customer service skills at a very young age. I started purchasing international fashion and interior design magazines, which increased my interest to pursue fashion and design. I took a very difficult clothing design class that inspired me by the textiles to go further into design. With a class assignment’s to design a floor plan and design a clothing article really made me enthusiastic kick started my dream.
While in fashion merchandising school and still maintain a job in a grocery store a door opened and I joined Joseph Magnin the high-end fashion retailer in sales. Within months I was awarded the opportunity at age 18 to become part of a select four trained in high-end retail management. Magnins with all of the High-end progressive fashion design company really opened Pandora’s box for me.
